All of our sessions include:

  1. •an on-location setting of your choice

  2. •a  session to fit your individuality and personal taste

  3. •a private, client proofing album with all your best images

  4. •a collection of your best images

  5. •all images are fully enhanced for that romantic and glamorous flare

  6. •a pre-shoot consultation with the photographer, stylist and client to go over itinerary, wardrobe and location

  7. •a post-shoot consult with photographer and client to show and choose images from the session and to discuss prints, products and additional package options

  8. •Boudoir’tique offers a wide variety of custom prints, albums and keepsakes to choose from

  9. •Carey is always accompanied to all sessions with a female assistant



COUPLE SESSIONS


Boudoir'tique caters to females only, however, we do offer couple “boudoir” sessions at the photographer’s discretion.

Boudoir'tique is all about respecting the privacy of its clients and gives the client the option to choose the location for their shoot, particularly one that will bring the client's personality and individuality to the mix.


Whether it is in the comfort of your own home, a hotel suite, or our private studio, we are 100% respectful, professional and discrete.  


Lighting has a big impact on your photos, so when you choose your location, consider as much natural window lighting as possible.   Keep your room simple and uncluttered, and if reserving a hotel suite, it is important to discuss their guest photography policy prior to booking.

HAIR & MAKEUP


I work with several top notch hair and makeup stylists, and HIGHLY recommend pampering yourself with this luxury for your session.


We do offer all-inclusive sessions, however, if hair and makeup is not included in your session, the option is available at cost.



WARDROBE


The choice is yours !  We encourage you to wear what makes you feel alluring, confident and above all, comfortable.  Whether boudoir or glamour, your outfits should bring out both your inner and outer beauty - curves and all.  Boudoir'tique has worked with all types of women and with all shapes and sizes.  We encourage you to wear exactly what you want. 


All wardrobe choices should be simple, classy and above all, not left to the last minute.  We suggest that each client bring at least 4 outfits to choose from and/or to mix and match.  Don't forget shoes, jewelry, accessories...and fresh nail polish !  Packing the day(s) before is the best option and keeping all your items organized and in an easy to travel suitcase is preferable.  Preparation is the KEY ;)


Prior to your session, you will also want to discuss your wardrobes choices, colors and expectations.  We are always available to help with suggestions and will help with styling at your session. 

GROOMING This is all a matter of personal preference, however, Boudoir’tique can only fix and photoshop minor flaws. We highly suggest that our clients pre-groom prior to your session; the essentials - hair, skin, nails and teeth. Heavy or fake tanning is HIGHLY discouraged. Nails should be freshly painted, manicured and match your wardrobe. Waxing or shaving, nail polishing, etc. is a MUST ! To avoid redness, do not wax the day of your shoot. If pro hair and makeup is part of your package, please come with clean hair and a fresh clean face, no makeup. If you wish to have fake lashes for your session, please reiterate that in your initial consultation. NUDITY Boudoir'tique's images are designed to be romantic, sophisticated, modern and classy !  Yes, nudity is an option as long as the photographer feels it is in good taste and artistically worthy. SPOUSE AND FRIENDS Unless this is a couples session, we ask that spouses or significant others do not attend.  Respectfully, our sessions are all about YOU...YOUr personality, YOUr smile, YOUr ideas. Want to bring along your female bestie, most definitely !  And, don't forget the champagne. WHEN TO RSVP Our calendar is filling up quickly and ask that you schedule your session at least 3-4 weeks in advance.  Contact carey@photographybyblankslate.com for available dates. TO RESERVE YOUR SESSION Session fees cover the cost of professional's time, talent and image production, and does not include the cost of professional prints, print products or additional digital images. To make your reservation, a non-refundable retainer must be received at booking.  The retainer is applied toward the cost of your session fee and the remaining balance is due on the day of your scheduled session. Payment methods include cash, credit card and PayPal.  We also offer convenient payment plans, ask for details.
